Are you ready to build, design, and create the future? This August, Urban Fun’s premier Young Architects Programme is opening its studio doors for a 4-day summer holiday camp.
Every day, our young architects will step into the shoes of a legendary master architect, discovering how they changed the world before diving into hands-on, interactive design challenges. From sweeping curves to nature-inspired structures, your child will sketch, build, and bring their biggest ideas to life.
Day 1 (August 24): Zaha Hadid – The Queen of the Curve
The Inspiration: We kick off the week exploring the futuristic, fluid world of Zaha Hadid. Kids will learn how she broke all the rules of traditional geometry to create buildings that look like waves, space stations, and flowing water.
The Challenge: Designing and modelling a building using fluid lines and gravity-defying curves.
Day 2 (August 25): Antoni Gaudí – Nature’s Builder
The Inspiration: We travel to Barcelona to marvel at Gaudí’s colourful, organic masterpieces. Children will discover how Gaudí looked at trees, bones, and seashells to design structures that look completely alive.
The Challenge: Creating vibrant, mosaic-inspired structures and structural columns modelled after the strength of nature.
Day 3 (August 26): Norman Foster – High-Tech & High Up
The Inspiration: We bring things closer to home to look at the sleek, sustainable, modern marvels of Sir Norman Foster.. We will explore how engineering meets architecture to create eco-friendly skyscrapers.
The Challenge: The Ultimate Skyscraper Challenge! Campers will test their structural engineering skills to build the tallest, strongest, and most sustainable tower.
Day 4 (August 27): Frank Lloyd Wright – Bringing the Outside In
The Inspiration: We wrap up the week with America’s most famous architect. Kids will explore how Wright designed buildings to harmonise perfectly with their environment—even building a house right over a waterfall!
The Challenge: Designing a "dream nature retreat" that blends seamlessly into its landscape, focusing on open spaces, light, and natural materials.

At Urban Fun, we believe the best way to learn is by doing. Our holiday camp offers a perfect balance of collaborative teamwork, individual creative expression, and active building sessions.
Hands-on Model Making: We trade screens for 3D materials, blueprints, and building blocks.
Professional Educator Support: Guided by our passionate team, children build confidence, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
End-of-Camp Exhibition: On our final afternoon, the studio transforms into a grand gallery where our young architects can showcase their 3D creations!

Drop-off & Pick-up: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily.
What to bring: A packed lunch, a water bottle, and plenty of imagination! (All specialist architectural and modelling materials are fully provided).
